S'alright. Holds it's hoppy taste but nothing exceptional. Lots of lasting head. A bit of pleasant hop smell, and some coconut in the taste. Middling mouthfeel.

Pours mucky, almost beige, with a generous head. The nose is initially berry, but that kind turns lager like, sadly.
The taste is not good at all. Collective Arts really shouldn't have bothered searching South Africa for hops, as the results are disappointing. I am trying to pinpoint what I am tasting, but it just comes across as dirty malt. The closest "sty;e" this reminds me off, is West Coast IPA, but that is not something I like.
I bought two of these, which is one too many.

This is an interesting IPA brewed with two South African hop varieties, Southern Star and Southern Passion. Good execution, as you'd expect from Collective Arts, but the hops are grassy and herbal, more like European noble hops than the more tropical-tasting hops we usually associate with this style of IPA, and the bitterness on the finish is too intense and not particularly pleasant.
