16oz can purchased from the fridge as a single for $3.80. Canned on 05/05/21, so this is almost 4 months old.
Look: A bright almost neon yellowish, borderline orange color. It is a bit cloudy/transulcently hazy. The rocky off-white head quickly dissipated to almost nothing.
Smell: Has this combination of aromas: sour, fruity, and herbal/vegetal.
Taste: Interesting. It's not as weird as I thought it was going to be. The sourness actually makes the herbal/vegetal hop notes more palatable in my opinion. I rarely drink cocktails, but I could see how this beer would remind someone of drinking a whiskey sour or amaretto sour or something like that. The hops used here are very earthy; they are not juicy or fruity or tropical, so those elements are coming from the kettle souring. There's a subtle peach/nectarine/apricot and also lemony flavors that are coming through.
Feel: It's medium bodied, with a palate-coating mouthfeel. Nicely carbonated, you need that with a sour beer.
Overall: It's not my favorite style of IPA, but also nice to see them doing something different. I developed more of a taste for it as I drank more.

It was real good I give a four, like a sierra pale with lime.

Appearance - Pours a hazy peach with two fingers of bubbly white head.
Smell - citrus and tropical hops, citrus and grapefruit peel, sour aromas, bready malts, and earthy yeast.
Taste - citrus and tropical hops alongside citrus and grapefruit peel upfront. The sourness definitely is amped up in the taste. The bready malts and earthy yeast round out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes tart with the mild hops and fruits lingering.
Overall - A sour ipa that definitely is more on the sour end of the spectrum versus having a balance between the sourness and tropical elements. This one falls a bit flat for me.

I like the can artwork, great use of color. The pour is bright yellow with slight haze to it. The taste is definitely sour along with a white bread crust note, & some mild grapefruit to round things off. The different types of hops are blended well together. Cheers! B

A little more sour than hops, but there is hop taste in the finish. Kettle sour tuned up because likely they have been tuned down on previous kettle sours. Needs more blending with the hops, or something else to act pon behalf of souring.

473 ml can served cold into a chalice. LCBO purchase for $4.75 CDN. Canned May 10, 2021.
Appearance - Hazy pale golden color with yellow highlights. A finger or so of fluffy white head is poured on top. Moderate staying power.
Smell - Grapefruit with some weedy notes and a certain mustiness that is found in some of these sour beers (think of it like slightly woody with a sour fruity aroma).
Taste - Lots of grapefruit, medium-sour afterwards, Fairly bitter. Seems one dimensional in flavor although executed quite well as always. Booze is well hidden. Acidic.
Mouthfeel - Crisp and lively carbonation, Medium body and a nice summer quencher with a fairly dry finish.
Overall - Honestly, not a big fan of sour IPA's, but if I were to make a sour IPA, it would probably end up close to this, with grapefruit featured prominently, plenty of but not not overbearing sourness, booze well disguised and a crisp clean body. Worth a shot but pricey, so if not a fan of the sour IPA substyle, maybe worth a pass.

Conflicted....that is the best word I can think of for this interesting brew ... Sour and tart with a "grapefruity" flavor ... These folks make interesting brews and this is certainly that ... Not my bag, but still enjoyed
