500 ml bottle served cold into a goblet. Purchased from the brewery for about $7.
Appearance- murky, ruddy golden coloured brew. A small half finger of white soapy head that burns off but for a collar in a minute. No lacing but looks super turbid.
Smell- nice gentle citrus notes. Orange, pineapple and passion fruit are the stars. Some floral aspects too. Well rounded and sufficiently intense aroma. Very inviting.
Taste- fairly bitter initially, some orange and grapefruit pith, then some wheaty backbone before the sweet kiss of citrus finishes things off. Finishing kick again seems to be orange and passion fruit, with a trace of grapefruit and pineapple.
Mouthfeel- full bodied, semi dry but also sticky throughout giving extra depth but also confirming the full bodied nature. Despite being dry there is an aspect of juiciness there as the feel contemplates the flavours.
Overall- just a really damn good IPA. Would love to see more distribution and perhaps have maybe a seasonal integration into Collective Arts lineup.

Pours very pale yellow, leaving a nice little pillow of a head. The nose is hop forward with citrus, quite lovely. The taste is citrus, but well balanced and it hits the roof of your mouth. Boozyness lingers. I must say that CA's small batch series is not really anything special, but this may be their best.
