This has held up exceptionally well considering it was brewed five months and is now basically on clearance at a 16% discount. I wish I'd tasted it fresh.

At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL, from The Roundhouse Centre LCBO in nearby Windsor. My eighth beer from the Hamilton, Ontario brewery.

473ml can served cold into a goblet. Purchase from the brewery. Canned December 5, 2024.

Appearance - Hazy pale straw with some gold. A finger plus of foamy white head and plus staying power.

Smell - Big fruity notes, some stone fruit, with elements of passionfruit, pineapple and a weedy dankness that permeates everything. Aromatics are fairly intense.

Taste - Semi sweet to start with some fleshy tangerine and some traces of pineapple. Then some dank weediness comes in with a hint of overripe mango. Bitterness is pretty low, and this overall is fruity and juicy.

Mouthfeel - Low carbonation, medium bodied and ABV is well disguised. Juicy and pretty crushable.

Overall - Unsurprisingly a collab between one of BC best IPA brewers and a consistent Ontario brewery made for a delightful treat. Hoping Superflux will collab with CA again or perhaps a couple of other local breweries (Bellwoods? GLB? Badlands?) as the results would inevitably be as awesome as this Rare Specimen.
