A surprisingly nice pour emptied the entire contents of a pint can into a clear glass liter mug. With its lemon-amber color, much foam was expected. Instead, there rests a very modest just-off-white head on top of the brew that endured. It is bright, yet very cloudy in appearance. A pleasantly mild aroma brings some sweet starch and mild citrus for the nose. The taste starts with a citrusy hop bite, then mellows out with bready starch compliment. It's not abundantly flavorful and barely on the acceptable side of sweet for an IPA. The transition to a moderate dose of citrusy hops cleans the finish and makes it good enough. The glass lacing was only scant, the mouthfeel slightly better in light body and smoothness. There's nothing wrong here, just nothing to get excited about.

Pours cloudy blond with in irascible head that coats the glass in lace. Tropical, floral, berry hop notes and sweet malts in the nose. The taste follows suit with a lot of tropical, pineapple hops mixed with vanilla, banana bread sweetness. The mouthfeel is light bodied with light carbonation. The finish is off dry with moderate hop bitterness and lots of lingering fruit notes.
A nice IPA that is decidedly more like a Blood Brothers offering than a CA one. Less dry and less bitter.
