Summit Peak is a bold evolution of the West Coast IPA, continuing the climb where our fan-favourite Peak to Peak left off. This limited-edition brew showcases a dynamic blend of Simcoe, Centennial, Chinook, and Vic Secret hops, delivering layers of resinous pine, zesty citrus, tropical fruit, and delicate floral notes. Crisp and hop-forward, it captures the essence of the great outdoors—earthy, bright, and undeniably refreshing. See you at the peak.

The entire contents of a pint can of this were emptied into a clear glass liter mug. It was a wonderful pour, with the desirable amount of stark white head produced. The brew is apricot-amber, relatively dull and cloudy. Sharp hops, bringing notes of pine, resin and citrus zest, dominate the aroma. It's the piney and resinous aspects that come through in the taste. There must be some sort of malt or other starch inclusion, because the body is good, even very good for a West Coast style IPA and there's sufficient sweetness. But, the taste is nearly all hops. Yet, it's not overly bitter, it's rich with flavor. This is hopply bitter enough to chase away purported IPA lovers that really don't like hops. Those that do, moreso for the flavor than some extreme bitterness, should enjoy this offering. It's very drinkable, bitter, but balanced for a WCIPA. Its body is better than its glass lacing shows.

I am admittedly a beer snob and East coast hazy IPA lover first and foremost.
This West coast style IPA probably single-handedly reignited my love for West coast IPA's. Because of this beer, I am searching out other West coast ipas more and more. But I still have not found one that I like as much as this one.
Collective Arts, how do I convince you to add this to your core lineup? This beer is close to perfect.

At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From my favourite LCBO at Tecumseh Mall in nearby Windsor. Canned September 2/25. My 23rd beer from the Hamilton, Ontario brewery, and 8th for 2026. Wildly admired by Gracie the cat...

Sampled at their Toronto location. A new trial beer from Cambridge plant, it is astringent, driving very far from the West Coast style to undrinkability.

473ml can served cold into a pint glass. LCBO purchase canned August 18, 2025.
Appearance - Reasonably hazy, rich golden color with two plus fingers of foamy off-white head. Great head retention.
Smell - Loads of pine with some weedy qualities too and a light caramel backbone. Pretty intense and smells like fall with a bit of that wet vegetative fall leaves aroma too.
Taste -Bold and intensely bitter. Lots of pine and earthiness. Slight caramel note at the end and good intensity of flavor throughout.
Mouthfeel - Medium full body and crisp carbonation. Fairly dry overall.
Overall - Old school WC IPA all the way with intense pine flavors and aromas. Well done and a great throwback to what hopheads loved 10-15 years ago.

4.25 4.5 4.5 4.25 4.5 Pours hazy yellow with a frothy, compact head that throws up lots of lace. The aroma is of grapefruit, pine and floral hops. The taste is an aggressive mix of citrusy, lemony, orangey hops, pine sap and floral hops. Full bodied with high carbonation. High bitterness in the resinous, dank, juicy finish.
An absolute banger tribute to the old school West Coast style with an upgrade. Highly recommended.
