64oz growler filled at the brewery, poured into a tulip.
Pours out a nice golden color, very slight haze to it. Nice big 2 fingers of dense white head, good head retention and very nice sticky lacing.
A light and simple aroma. Grains, bread, almost smells lager like.
Again, a nice simple clean taste. Light cereal grains, some doughy bread, a bit of a fruity yeast, slight hints of a hop bitterness that lingers just a bit after the sip.
Light, good carbonation, somewhat creamy mouthfeel, very sessionable.
Nothing too memorable here, but tastes well made, nothing at all off about it. If this wasn't a favorite local brewery I probably wouldn't think twice about dismissing this beer but as it stands I'd buy this again. Perfect beer for those newcomers to craft beer.
