12 ounce bottle into weizen glass, no bottle dating. Pours fairly hazy/cloudy medium golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of lemon, orange, peach, pineapple, mango, melon, berry, banana, bubblegum, clove, light pepper/pine, wheat, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and pale/wheat malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, orange, peach, pineapple, mango, melon, berry, banana, bubblegum, clove, light pepper/pine, wheat, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light pine/grassy/zesty bitterness and yeast spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, orange, peach, pineapple, mango, melon, berry, banana, bubblegum, clove, pepper, pine, wheat, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and pale/wheat malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitter/spiciness balance; and minimal astringent hop flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing lingering bitter/spicy dryness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol for 5.75%. Overall this is a nice hoppy hefeweizen style. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and pretty refreshing to drink with the mildly bitter/spicy/drying finish. Very well balanced between all flavors. The Mandarina Bavaria, Hull Melon, and Hallertau Blanc hops worked really well with the yeast character. A nicely enjoyable offering, and spot on base style example on the yeast character/malt balance.

Had this on tap locally. Extremely hazy pale yellow color. Smelled estery with floral notes and earthy tones. Taste was unnervingly bitter with unbalanced estery belgian tones - hard to describe but just unpleasant. I like IPAs and Belgians, but I do not like this style at all.

Too much Bavarian yeast flavors coming through. Some nice citrus hops but hard to identify

Nasty estery bananas and hops that do not meld well at all. I do like a good white IPA, but this is not one of them. Couldn't even finish my 3oz sampler.
