I'm trying this at the brewery. It poured a nearly opaque dark but can see a ruby red circle with no head and no lace. The scent had faint roast. The taste had more flavor than expected a anise start with roast coffee finish. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.
