We decided to split a 12oz bottle since the octane was high on this. Pours a very deep reddish brown color with a nice 1/4 inch of foam. Smells of mild sherry and wine with sweet caramel and dark fruit notes. Taste was very sweet and fruity like candied prunes but my friend did note some port wine and barrel notes even though this was not aged in a barrel. Very smooth body on this surprising for the ABV. I would get it again if it was ever on tap but it was a treat to sample. Get some!
