Poured in a willi at Proper Brick Oven Pizza (Pittsburgh, PA).
A: Light honey gold, clear with short cap of white head and minimal lacing.
S: Aroma is of nutty malt and low-intensity floral noble hop note. Kind of muted for a dry-hopped pilsner.
T: Flavor is overwhelmed by the nutty malt character at first which does fade and give way to more floral, herbal noble hop qualities. No esters and bitterness is moderate but does not mix well with the nutty malt notes.
M: Feel is okay, not as light-bodied as I would like and lightly dry finish.
O: Profondo is a decent but middle of the road attempt at Italian pilsner.
