Faintly cloudy, pale straw hued body; thick, sticky head. Dull lemon and fresh grass aroma; trace of light malt grain. The taste follows the aroma; gently tart with a fine hop bitterness soon following; a light biscuit malt eases into the finish. Light, soft and velvety on the palate; crisp and sharp; mild tartness; primarily dry finish.

This pilsner delivers the goods. It is balanced and tasty with a fine hop aroma and flavor present throughout.

I was in the mood for a lighter beer while hanging out before the Colts @ Packers game so I decided to give this one a shot since it seemed to fit the bill and my mood. This beer pours a light golden color that is clear with moderate carbonation easily visible. There is a bit of chill haze it seems (the beer is quite cold). The head is a white color and frothy in appearance. It dissipates very slowly to a thin lacing. 4/5 The aroma is typical of the style with unmalted grains as well as pilsner malt coming out right away. Earthy and herbal hops make their way past the malt to provide a crisp and clean aroma. Unfortunately this is yet another beer that has a subdued aroma to it. 3.5/5 The flavor beings with caramel, cracker, and biscuit malty notes that are obvious but don't overpowering the palate. Hop notes of grass and an herbal quality come through on the back end, sapping any potential for sweetness. However, as the beer warms, a bit of pear makes its way to the surface. Very clean overall flavor. 3.75/5 This is a nice light bodied pilsner that has a light carbonation burn alongside a light dryness that lingers ever so slightly on the palate after swallowing. For once, a brewery has delivered a German pilsner that is not overly drying. 4/5 This is a good, thirst quenching pilsner that performs to style and goes excellently with football. 3.75/5
