Imperial Chocolate Coffee Porter

Poured into a snifter, the appearance was a deep dark brown almost black in color with a thin cap of a tan foamy head. Light messy lace. The aroma had some roasty coffee bean up front and then some sweetness, almost like lactose. Then some milk chocolate, followed by toast and then ending with some caramel. The flavor blended fairly decent with the previously mentioned aromas to project a fairly clean and sweet aftertaste flowing into the finish. On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a good sipping quality about it. Moderate carbonation. ABV felt as projected by the brewer. Overall, I say this was pretty good as an imperial porter worthy of having again.
