Left intentionally hazy and including massive hop additions during fermentation, this beer has a smooth and juicy hop flavor and big tropical aroma. Our Hazy IPA is named after the meaning of the Badger State: Some tales say the word Wisconsin translates to "Grassy Place" hence our tribute to the place we call home.

On tap at Lambeau Field with the Green Bay tasting crew. Pours very hazy/turbid golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense and rocky white head with great retention and spotty soapy lacing down the glass. Aromas and flavors of big red grapefruit, tangerine, peach, pineapple, passionfruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, wheat, white bread, herbal, floral, grass. Light-medium pine herbal spicy bitter finish. Medium carbonation and medium plus body. Balanced creamy grainy malt and sticky hop mouthfeel. Light resins and lingering hop oil drying. No lingering hop astringency. Very smooth, soft, and juicy. Tastes like mosaic, El dorado, citra hops. Awesome hazy all around.

Pours out of the can a gorgeous cloudy golden orange with a finger of head that has good retention. Smells slightly resinous and citrusy. Tastes a little muted, not really the fruity slap I was expecting from the scent. Good mouthfeel, easy to drink not too heavy.

I got a can of this beer from ZaRoni's pizza in Oshkosh, Wisconsin whilstthereforthe WiAC women'sgymnastics conference finals. It poured a slightly hazy golden with no head and no lace. The scent had hints of lemon notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with crisp malt base and lemon grass presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

this is excellent hazy ipa, one of my favorite from the four random wisconsin ones my father in law shared with me in a recent session. only my second badger state beer ever, i am a newb for the most part when it comes to wisconsin. this is orange tinted, short white headed, and hazy enough to look a little dim. the nose is wonderful though, cool mix of hops, minerals from the water, and pale malts, simple really, but distinctive even with a pretty neutral fermentation profile. i smell pineapple candy, fresh sliced orange, papaya and mango juiciness, and an almost noble hop type spiciness, balanced by a lightly sweet graham cracker-esque sweetness from the barley malt, organic and natural and easy seeming to me, and obviously very fresh. the flavor is just as good as the nose, and indeed there is a little back end pep, spice, and bitterness to this, making it stand out from the hazy types that are fruity and juicy and nothing else. this is that too of course, and there is big citrus up front, some stone fruit in the middle, and then the wet lawn thing later on, and it stays together and cohesive as it warms, unlike so many of these. not intense enough to be green, this sort of hits like pale ale as much as it does ipa, and i like the flavor of the grain coming through this prominently to balance while also staying dry overall. frothy on the palate, crisp at the end, and just real tasty overall. yum!

Truly hazy IPA, true juicy hoppyness that wont disappoint. Served ice cold found it to be quite refreshing and an easy drink. Would buy for home consumption.
