From Brewery: It’s been said that ducks fly together so embracing the spirit of unity, we’re thrilled to introduce the latest addition to our year-round beer lineup: Mallard West Coast IPA. We’ve drawn inspiration from our roots, selecting our beloved El Dorado hop and pairing it with Simcoe to craft a flavor that’s as layered and complex as the majestic Mallard itself. While Mallards are not unique to Wisconsin, we believe they perfectly illustrate the layering and depth of flavors achieved by the combination of hops, all supported by a robust malty foundation to float this big beer on.

From pint can born on 6/11/24 and tasted on 9/29/24. Golden in color with some floaties likely due to the age. Smells great considering its age. I'd love to try it fresh. Taste is candied citrus, maybe mango. Has a solid body with a nice dry finish. Lacked the hop bite I was hoping for, but will revisit a fresher version. I expect the rating to rise.
