Belgian Pale Ale with Roasted Sweet Potato
Murky gold with a strong bubbly head. Mild sweet potato aroma. Light hop aromas as well. Broad hop bitterness that subsides quickly in the mouth. Little Belgian yeast to speak of. Grass, pepper, mild sweetness. Medium body. While an enjoyable beer, the sweet potato is negligible and whatever makes this Belgian is absent in the flavour until it warms up a little. Nonetheless an enjoyable beer that I would gladly drink again.
