This is the most interesting mouthful of fragrant craziness. It's deeply resiny with a big aromatic grapefruit taste. Also it's not really astoundingly bitter, considering the abundant hops listed: Chinook, Magnum, Palisade, Columbus, and Cascade. Talking to the brewer, he said they worked on the dry hopping to give this more aromatics.
Color is an orange-tinged amber with just a modest foam. Lighter body with a moderately sweet start. It dries out almost like a Belgian yeast. Bready and malty with an unusually flowery intensity.
I liked this one a lot. On tap at the Black Sky tasting room on Santa Fe Dr.
