I had a half pint of this yesterday on a break from a walk through RiNo and back to downtown. I have a hard time reconciling what I drank with some of the comments and ratings I am reading here, from people whose palate I respect. Maybe they dialed it in? Many of the poorer reviews or ratings are from quite awhile back.

Brewery literature says this is made with Simcoe, Centennial, and Galaxy hops. Color is a clear golden with decent foam and plenty of spritziness on the tongue. Thin body. Sharpish but not acidic.
Flavor is oddly grassy with some straw. Not dank or even herbal. Hops come through aided by the lack of any malt. Unusual lemony flavor. Clean and crisp like a Pale Ale dosed with lime peel.
"I've lost the nuance of details. It's awash with hops," said the drinking companion. It's just not very bitter at all. Dry and fruity with a tangy ending. Not much of a modern killer IPA, but the most drinkable of the several beers tasted at the Jagged Mountain tap room in downtown Denver.
