Holy cow. So Prim & Porter was my first beer at Former Future a little while back, and I thought it was a great roasty porter. This takes the base beer to a whole new level. First of all, no caramel was harmed or used in the making of this beer. The robust caramel flavor is a result of adding lactose and salt. Right up front, it looks incredibly appealing in the glass. A frothy off-white head and the beer is an extremely dark brown. Aroma is all caramel with a slight bit of roast and vanilla. What follows is the best part: A complete caramel bomb supported by a smooth, creamy, medium bodied beer that has a nice wet finish. A total dessert beer, that directly moves Dry Dock's Vanilla Porter down on my list. New favorite go-to beer has been found. I freaking love it.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
