Gose Feather

they have a bunch of "feather" beers now, but this one is easily the best beer i have had from former future. a gose style fermented in sherry casks, and its super good! looks the part, hazy golden in color, maybe a little darker shade than most, but its about right, with a tall white head that settles fast. it smells like the sherry, you get the oak and the liquid in equal parts, and a ton of lacto. this thing is really sour tasting, super acidic, and with a lemon twist in there that seems to highlight the sherry flavor. its complex, and its bold. i dont get a ton of the herbal coriander that usually comes in the style, but the salt is there, just overpowered a bit by the sourness. its got a spice element too that works with the subtle sherry notes, and the layers keep unfolding. maybe the most sour gose i have had, but i like the feel with all the body and bubbles. this one is worth visiting the brewery for in my opinion. maybe the best beer made in my neighborhood in awhile, its most excellent. hopefully they can repeat it!
