Cedar rapids location. Middle afternoon, work party. Plenty of room. Ample beer choices. Food was good, had just appetizers: pretzel with sausage, nachos, frog legs, meatballs. Didn't even the daily raffle but was fun to participate.

Very cool little brewpub outside of Iowa City, worth the detour for sure. They had just opened the patio for an unprecedentedly warm day in the high 70's.
Service was very personable and friendly, they didn't hesitate to bring samples of all their beers. We had a wood-fired margherita pizza, which was excellent.
Range of beers was very good, the highlights were the Berliner and a wine barrel-aged DIPA which took on wild ale characteristics. Good IPA as well. Overall worth a stop, seems that a lot of effort was put into it, and very popular with locals as a result.

A nice microbrewery in a small town, the owners of Red's bring a touch of cosmopolitan living to Solon. The big difference between the two places is fresh made beer. However, unless you knew that, you might not know it. Their own beers seem not to be featured, pushed, nor promoted. Unlike most places that brew a variety of beer, their sampler seems like an after thought, not a feature.
This place seems to be a restaurant first and a brew pup second, seemingly yearning for a gastropub status. The food seems well thought out, with unique twists on standard favorites. I would urge you to step outside your box when ordering because their basics are not special but their specialties are.
