Served in Nonic. Poured a clean, clear coppery amber color with 1/8 inch of light tan head that had low retention and light lacing.
The aroma started of with a bit of sweet malt, that led into a bit of biscuityness, with some gentle, grassy hops in the background. The flavors were pretty much the same, with the malt coming across a bit earthier than the scent led me to expect, and the hops having a touch more tang and bite.
The body was very good, smooth, even, balanced, and with a finish that was just slightly sweet. Drinkability was very good, smooth across the palate, and with a clean finish that lingered for just a few moments. Overall, a pretty nice brew, more akin to a British Mild in my eyes than a typical APA (IPA light in my view). It'll be easy to drink a few of these on an afternoon. Worth trying if you see it.
