draught
This was labeled as Muiness.
Very creamy beige head. Really dark and opaque brown, with a little caramel highlight, at the edge of the glass. A medium heavy, smooth roasted and toasted grain and malt aroma, with a little bit of a sweet edge to it. Quite dry, i.e. true to form, moderate body, nearly watery, but not quite. Easy, dark roasted grain flavors

Served in Nonic. Poured an almost solid black, just the lightest red-brown trace at the far edges, with 3/4 inch of thick, rich, creamy, khaki colored head that had great retention, and light-to-medium lace.
The aroma was fairly typical for the style, solid malt, light roast, and a hint of sweetness. The flavors were very similar, but expanded. A bit of creamy sweetness at the front, a roasty tang in the middle, and a bone dry finish that fades to leave some roast lingering.
The body was full, without being heavy, smooth, even, and finished cleanly. Drinkability was excellent, these would go down smoothly all day (and with the low ABV, you could drink them all day). Overall, an exceptional example of the style. A must try if you see it.
