Served in tulip. Poured a clean, clear, coppery amber color with less than 1/4 inch of off-white head that moderate retention and decent lacing.
A light malt backbone provides a base for a bold hop presence. Lots of citrus, with just hints of pine and floral. The flavor profile was very similar, with a lot of grapefruit lingering on the finish.
The was a little on the full side of medium, which was a bit surprising considering the low malt flavor. Drinkability was good, the beer disappeared a bit too quickly. Overall, a nicely solid, pretty typical example of the style. Worth trying if you see it.
