Served in Nonic. Poured a clean, clear, bright golden yellow color with only about 1/16inch of white head that good retention and very good lacing.
The aroma started with a solid wheat foundation, but was quickly overpowered by a big blast of Sorachi hops, that gave a great spice aroma. On the tongue, it was pretty much the same story, just bigger, bolder, and brighter.
The body was just a bit fuller than you generally find in wheat beers, and was a slight detriment, although the beer did have a very nicely dry finish. Drinkability was very good, I could easily drink several of these, and probably will. Overall, a very nice beer. Close to a must-try for everyone, and if you love Sorachi hops, like I do, it is a must try.
