Served in Nonic pint glass. Poured a solid black, with a thick, creamy tan head. That head took a while to settle in, thanks to the nitro pour, and the cascade was beautiful.
The aroma was as expected, slightly roasty, a bit of sweetness, and nice malt tones. Pretty similar on the tongue, with the flavors being well blended all across the palate. The body was spot on, full without being heavy, and smooth. Drinkability was very good, you could easily knock back a few pints on a rainy Bellingham day. Overall, a very nice take on the style, worth trying if you get the chance.
