Served in shaker pint glass. Poured clean, clear, dark chestnut brown color, with a half-inch of tan head that had no retention or lacing.

The aromatics started of with a slight roast note, that was supported by a nice malt scent, with very gentle hops in the background. On the tongue, the roast was even more pronounced, the malts a bit more sweet, the hops still just on the edges.

The body was light-medium for the style, and the roast flavors lingered at the back. Drinkability was good, I had multiple pints (I had this at a fund-raiser, with the proceeds supporting a local charity), and liked the last sip as much as the first. Overall, a nicely solid brew. Worth a shot if you see it.
