Lovely pile of foam on the orangey amber brew poured in the Maredsous goblet.
The taste is so resiny and musty, though. Bitter and even something that makes me think of chemicals rather than agricultural products. I think of that earthy smell of freshly dug potatoes. Nicely sudsy on the tongue is the best I can say for it. I'm afraid to drink the rest of the can. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. No apparent date.

16.9oz bottle (no date) poured into 14oz teku. Poured a lightly hazy medium gold color with an inch of white head that had decent retention and medium lacing.
The aroma had some pine and citrus hops at first, with a touch of frootiness behind that. no real malt or grain showed through.
On the tongue though, the frooty hops were dominant, and the slightly bitter citrus only showed through at the back end. Again, no malt or grain.
The body was light-medium, smooth, and had a medium finish. Drinkability was good, although I did get a bit bored by the froot flavors by the end of the bottle.
Overall, a nicely solid brew that's worth a shot if you see it.
