This beer delivers on its name in every way. A clear yellow with modest head, lacking lacing. Nose and taste are loaded with pineapple. Not much bitterness, and a touch sweet.

Something new from Device Brewing Co for Sacramento Beer Week (2018), Pineapple Cannon, a 7.9% NE style IPA.
Pours a beautiful looking pineapple juice yellow with a nice, thick foamy head.
Smell has a distinct pineapple aroma, at 25 IBU there is not much hop smell associated on the nose. Not as juicy smelling as I originally expected, thinking more Dole Pineapple.
Taste is pure pineapple but the look and name on the can put juicy notes in my mind, but not as sweet on the palette. The flavor is subtle and dry but drinks more like a West Coast, NE style IPA, as the taste as a bigger than expected hop flavor, which also gives the beer it's pineapple characteristic. A bit tangy and citrusy on the back end.
Device Brewing, beer with a purpose.
