Pours a dark copper with some lacing, very little head. Aroma is very nice with some caramel, bread malt, dank hops and a touch of indistinct sweet fruitiness. Good flavor on the front end with assertive malt of caramel and base breadlines, nice floral and citrus hop flavors. On the back end of the taste, the balance between caramel malt and citrus hops is a little off putting and slightly clashing. It’s a thick malt, might benefit from some additional carbonation. For me I think the caramel malts should back off a little to let the hop flavors rise to the top without competition. That said, this is a well made beer that other people’s palates might like better than mine.

100% opaque, dark apricot color, nice lacing.
Rich, sugary, candy orange with dank hop underneath. A touch of mimosa. One of the most decadent IPA's I've ever nosed.
A polite bitterness mixes with hints of lawn clippings, black jelly bean, citrus rinds, blood orange flesh, orange juice, and whisks of bubble gum. A dank apricot flavor wraps it up.
Feel is slightly undercarbonated but it has been sitting out a little while.
Overall a knock out DIPA, needing a few small improvements but nothing major. Seek it out if you can.

It's unfortunate this beer only has 4 reviews. This DIPA is on par with the best in the country. Absolutely fantastic IPA nestled in the middle of Nebraska.

This. This compares to Pompeii by TG. Amazing stuff. Beautiful balance, almost no bitterness. Delicious. Seek it out. Like the other guy said, Best IPA in Nebraska, by a LONG shot. This is in my top 5 beers.

Smell is tropical fruit - pineapple, mango, passion fruit, malt, a slight bit of dankness, and super lemon candy. Taste is heavy on tropical fruit, with a hint of booziness, and a finish that is a little more bitter than I expected. A great beer and one that I look forward to trying on tap.
