Paris 30/3 2026. 33 cl bottle from Carre Four, Rue de Bercy, Paris 12e. Green label with the name of the beer in white letters.

Pours slightly unclear pale yellow with a big white head. Stable. Settles as a 1 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.

Aroma is fairly intense with a strong fruity and perfumed odor mingling with a more subdued scent of citrus fruit. Whiff of butter. Peach and flowerbed. Lime and orange.

Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.

Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is lightly bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.

Decent - but I could do without the butter.

F: fine bubbles, quite short

O: really good for a supermarket beer. Well made, surprisingly full of character.

This drinks like a WCIPA with its resinous notes and piney taste.

33 cl bottke, straight up, on the street in Toulouse, France.
Everything about this little store brand IPA is decent. Foam in the bottle, hop aroma pops out, nice round hoppy taste with a fine bitter note, good solid burp.
I’ll have another. No problem.

A single finger for the head, but it is large bubbled and settles quickly to film and rim bubbles. Minimal lacing of a couple of minor dots. Clear liquid with darker gold color.

The smell is caramel sweetness with nearly no semblance of hops.

Full-bodied with a diminished carbonation level. The beer tastes better than the smell suggests. The caramel malt is only semisweet, not full-blown candy as suggested by the aroma. There's also a notable bitterness. The combination is closest to the English versions of IPA. The swallow is well balanced and the aftertaste is fairly short, particularly for the style.

Overall, this is drinkable in a pleasant way as long as you don't take a long time with the smell.
