Poured from a 12 OZ can into a pint glass.
Aroma- Had a sweet malt aroma, not bad
Appearance- Poured a fairly clear copper color with a medium sized off-white head.
Taste- Had a big sweet malt flavor with a little hint of hops. this was pretty good to me.
Palate- A medium bodied beer with moderate to heavy carbonation.
Overall- Not a bad beer from Berber. I have enjoyed several of their beers this week.

This has been on The CANQuest's want list for a while after first encountering it in CANs at Garage in Philly, where they do not allow for take-away sales. Berber makes four CANned beers, to the best of my knowledge, and this was the elusive one until this past Monday, when I scored one at The Foodery on 11th Street.
From the CAN: "Hecho en Mexico"; "100% Artesanal Cerveza Hecha en Mexico Importada".
The Crack! had an odd, muted quality to it and the inverted Glug could only be maintained briefly before I was faced with a mounting pseudo-cascade of foam and I had to back off. It finally settled into two-plus fingers of dense, rocky, deep-tan head with excellent retention that kept me waiting. Color was Deep Amber/Light Copper to Copper (SRM = > 13, < 17) with just a slight haze. Nose was very sweet, highly malty with a molasses-like tang. Hmmm. Mouthfeel was thin to medium. Taste was really sweet, almost sugary, with a caramel and molasses bent. I thought that I also detected some grassy Noble hops in the mix. Finish was sweet, plain and simple. Man, I would not want more than one of these, but if sweet, malty beers are your thing, then have at it. This was a once-and-done novelty for me.
