From notes taken 04/11/16:
Mostly clear but dense with fine hazy specks. Gold-hued. White, fluffy, chunky, fine, delicate head of moderate retention, with long-lasting film and thick lacing. Smell is bizarre but enticing. Seems Saison-like at first, but likely for the wrong reasons (i.e., not so much from the yeast). Coriander and rind (apparently from hops and not orange peel), lemon, mixed with more exotic spice notes. Ginger the strongest throughout. A little cracker character behind all this. Alcoholic burn in the nostrils, likely accentuated by Thai spices. Again, on the palate, ginger is powerful, but basil, coriander, citrusy hops, and lemongrass still detectable throughout. Citric-tart at the base. Rindy hop character nearly lost in the gingery finish. Strong peppercorn retro-olfaction to be found if sought after. Don’t drink in a hurry, you’ll miss out and your palate will soon become overwhelmed. Medium-bodied, somewhat thin but still very creamy with extremely fine softer carbonation, though some tingles here and there. Fairly crisp, so much going on here I barely noticed. I know some ginger fanatics that would probably rate this much higher, but this is not quite my thing. It is different enough, however, that I would pick it up again, if they decide to make its release a little less limited. Whatever you do, do not drink this from the can. It traps the aromas and doesn’t allow the flavors to properly aerate, and though still good, is not distinguishable enough, in my opinion, from Upslope’s Blood-Orange Saison, nor their Belgian Pale Ale.

Definitely not as wild as it sounds. Drinks like a White IPA, finishes like your favorite Thai dish.
