L:. Pours a dark muddy brown with a small white head and no lacing.
S:. Rich chocolate and caramel, mixes with a strong cherry from the bourbon and vanilla, a strong note of alcohol.
T:. Chocolate, Tootsie roll, toffee and caramel, bourbon is noticeable with lots of vanilla, cherry, oak but the base beer still shines.
F:. Slick carbonation, medium to thick body.
O:. A nice Scotch ale that balances the base beer and barrel aged well.
