Cervejaria Dortmund's contribution to the Brazilian beer scene was introducing the nation's first widely distributed White IPA (personally, I prefer to call such style an India White Ale). The White IPA is a simple white background on its label with detailed artwork of The White House in Washington DC. I have 600 ml to drink, and I have Sergio and the crew to thank for the bottle. On to the beer:
I can already smell that the beverage is beer, because the appearance reminds me as much as ginger ale. Little head on the pour with just a thin creamy lace remaining on top. Very pale colored beer, which indeed looks like ginger ale. The aroma brings back hope, however. There's a pleasant sweet creaminess brought by oats, an accent of vague orange peel, coriander, and a drizzle of hop leaves. It actually smells like a white ale with an extra helping of hops.
The theme of an India White Ale are for the hops to give the beer a different accent. The White IPA does that. The base witbier itself is rather tasty with the sweet creaminess, kiss of orange and coriander, and a vague fruitiness. In a light style of beer like this, those 50 IBU's can seem like 80, as the hop bill easily pulls through the base witbier and leaves its bitterness around in the aftertaste.
Pleasant beer to come out of Dortmund. The Brazilian brewery, not the German city. Now I'm curious to see how Schloss (witbier without the extra hops) compares.

Slightly hazy yellow color with a four fingers thick head with eternal retention.
Light aroma of bready malt with floral notes.
Similarly, bitter flavor, even though it doesn’t feel like 50 IBUs, with clear floral notes and a light citric touch.
Medium body with medium carbonation.
A mild English IPA with predominant floral notes. Better use as of a session beer.
