Hazy golden amber color with a decent head with good retention and leaving laces.
Good aroma with predominant notes of passion fruit, pine, peaches and malt sweetness. It feels quite fresh.
Flavor with notes of pine, passion fruit, spices, malt sweetness, grapefruit and lemon drops. Dry and bitter aftertaste. Its 42 IBUs are present but far from aggressive. Great balance towards hops.
Light body with appropriate carbonation. Alcohol of 5.9% abv is absent.
Classic American IPA recipe with focus on pine and tropical. This felt very fresh, they sell this with a short 2-month expiration date and keep it under cold chain the whole time. Best cost benefit for IPAs I know at the moment. It is a pity this is not available in São Paulo as it is.
Post degustation. Some days later got a different batch that would completely change the rating done here. Then I went back to the store and exchange it by a two week older batch that was ffine.
