The Two Headed Stout is extremely robust with extreme notes of roasted barley and dark chocolates. Don’t be scared, this stout is as smooth and creamy as it is dark.

Perhaps the best beer at the brewery. In the Delaware in Roscoe ny. Catskills at its best.
A) mighty dark body with khaki lasting tihht bibbled head
S) toast, burnt grains, coffee
T) more blackened toasted grains, black coffee, some background dark chocolate and vanilla.
F: thinner like a dry stout. Hides abv
O: fresh at brewery, outstanding.

No dating found on the 16oz. can. ABV on this one is 8.5%.
White chevron over black with a golden two headed trout intertwined in the lettering.
I get it - Roscoe on the Beaverkill River famous for Brown Trout. My advice? Fish the Willowemoc upstream of the Beaverkill confluence.
It pours a dark, stouty brown with a low tan head of small bubbled foam. Head recoils quick to a wispy film with a fine sheet of lace. Head kicks up easily with a swirl of the goblet so carbonation is solid.
The aroma is smokey and full of black grain and stone fruit notes. Clean sweet stout smells of rich roasted malt and hints of simmering molasses. Zero whiffs of the 8.5.
The flavor is rich in roasted flavor but well shy of Imperial intensity despite the high abv.
Great balance and drinkability for so big a beer. Sweet roasted taste up front, some slightly sour notes and dry bakers chocolate bitterness with a firm hop bite on the exit.
Not a lot of "middle" here just an easy drinking winter stout for those waiting for opening day of trout season in NY. ( April Fools day btw)
Body is medium-full, not heavy or cloying at all.
The finish is long and dry with lingering grassy hop and scorched grain stuff happenin, and while overall this beer lacks complexity it's well worth a try if you enjoy stouts.

L: somewhere between root beer and used motor oil with a thin dark tan head that quickly dissolves into a film
S: burnt grains, mild coffee
T: toasted grains, medium black coffee, some background dark chocolate
F: thinner than I expected and dry with a with a black coffee aftertaste
O: a pretty good stout, the ABV is a little high for a non-imperial and isn't really noticable. Definitely worth a repeat visit.

Picked up a four pack of this from a gas station in Roscoe, NY. Pours out to a nice half inch head with a beautiful deep dark cola like color. The aroma is like banana bread and is truly a thing of genius. The flavor is more of the banana bread with dark roasty notes and some chocolate. I recommend this stout and would definitely drink it again.
