Clean, crisp amber ale perfect for year-round drinking. This malty medium body amber has hints of caramel and toasty malt with a well-balanced bitterness and hop presence. Portion of the proceeds from each Tag & Release Amber sold is donated to The Billfish Foundation.

A very Boston Lager-ish amber ale...
The whole time I drank this beer it reminded me of a remake of Sam Adam's Boston Lager - has about the same look and mouthfeel, and it has a taste that is reminiscent. Certainly something to give it a go if you get the chance.

Tried this in FLA at a nice restaurant and didn't think it was too bad. Brought a six-pack back to focus on a review.
12 ounce can best by dated 01-03-25. Poured into my imperial nonic.
L -- Hazy dark amber to copper in color with a dense and sticky, cream colored head.
S -- Aroma of caramel malt extract and DMS.
T -- Roasted malt and caramel malt extract up front. Somewhat harshly bitter, earthy hops as the backbone. Stone fruit esters and hop bitterness in the finish and aftertaste.
F -- Feel is smooth to dry with a medium body.
O -- Reminds me of an old-fashioned pub-brewed beer from the late 80s. Drinkable enough, but rather blah. The good food at the restaurant must have accentuated the first can I tried.

Poured a copper body that resembles a dark penny with minimal head and a lace ring. Minimal aroma that has a touch of spring-like hops and touch of caramel malt. Medium body, slightly chewy, decent earthy hoppiness with a mild maltiness that adds balance and decent finish.

Pours a mostly clear amber color with a light tan head that provides a nice amount of lacing. Caramel is prominent on the nose with a nice bit of hops as well.
The hops are fruity and more prominent on the taste, with the caramel flavor at the back of the palate for balance. Really good flavor profile for an amber.
The mouthfeel is fairly crisp, making for a very drinkable amber that I’d gladly revisit.

Served on draught in Stuart, not far from where it’s brewed. This was really solid, surprisingly crisp and hoppy, lighter than anticipated in both body and color, lighter malt character too. Leaned more towards an American pale ale to me. Easy drinking and compatible with food. Medium to slightly light bodied, crisp but smooth mouthfeel. I would order this again and wonder how it would stack up against the canned version.

Absolutely disgusting! I would rather go to my local sewage treatment plant and drink the water coming in then drink this beer. All around it is bad. Please don't drink this.

I am not normally an amber ale fella but this one has something going on for sure to get my pale ale and IPA taste buds going. More hops than most amber ales? Maybe so, but I dig it.

8/14/2022 - Hazy dark amber, creamy foamy head, good looking; Mild tasty flavor; Smooth mouthfeel, medium carbonation; I almost expected this to be a ho-hum beer. It's not outstanding but it's not bad. I kinda like it. It's good looking and flavor and feel are as good as most.
