Poured can into grip shaped goblet: color is black, solid, head is tan with fine bubbles and compact presentation with at least 1 inch depth. Great look off the pour.
Smell is a bit limited with just a hint of coffee and roasted malt, mild sweetness.
Taste is roasty malt, light roasted coffee, hint of toffee and lactose, vanilla is present but not overpowering. Lactose seems prominent.
Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, then moderate bitterness and lingering sweetness with some mild drying.
Overall a great looking beer off the pour with limited aroma and strong lactose in the flavor with roasted malt, coffee, and vanilla backing.
