Poured into a half pint glass: color is straw, head is brighter white with fine to small bubbles, head presents 1/2 inch thick and dissipates to 1/8 inch top with some lacing on the glass.
Smell is pleasant, simple with light malt and subtle tropical and lemon rind and pine hops.
Taste is similar with light malt, lemon rind, tropical notes, pine and herbal notes, a bit more herb and lemon rind than aroma.
Mouthfeel is low carbonation, strong bitterness, dry lingering presence on the tongue.
Overall a good beer with a lean towards citrus and herbal hops with light malt notes.

LOOK: Pours a copper color with good clarity. Soapy white froth sticks to the pint. A very good looking draft of beer.
SMELL: Pine, grass, herb, citrus. A little bit of cat pee, cooked veggies and spent grain.
TASTE: Resinous hop notes of pine and lemon peel. Solid hop flavor and a wall of bitterness. Very little malt flavor and what is there seems a bit odd (waxy nuts and stale bread) but with that in mind this is a hop focused ale and decent at that.
FEEL: Medium bodied, carvonation is OK, finish is bitter.
OVERALL: A promising east coast IPA. Would go great with Fish & Chips and actually in the batter too!
