Poured into a small chalice: color is dark brown, head is light tan and presents about 3/8 inch thick and then lingers with a solid top and some light lacing on the glass.
Smell is quite spicy - more than just pumpkin pie spice mix - strong cinnamon and clove with maybe some all spice and nutmeg as well.
Taste is follows with similar flavors to the aroma - cinnamon, clove, allspice, lighter nutmeg; porter background provides some sweetness but the spice level is quite high and drying. I'm not sensing any actual pumpkin qualities, but could be the high spice high level.
Mouthfeel is moderately carbonated, light sweetness and then drying spice finish.
Overall this seems to be a porter with spices but I get minimal pumpkin character and the spice level is strong and dry.
