Pours a few shades lighter than straw with a quickly diminishing white head. Unfiltered and slightly hazy very pale yellow.
Musty yeasty aroma, a bit barnyard like. Some citrus and wheat bread around the edges.
Bright flavor of limeade and green banana. Wheat is so thick in the flavor the beer is almost starchy, but nice flavor. Faint hop bitterness and clove ride well with the citrus and unripe banana notes. This certainly a flavorful, fresh tasting brew.
A nicer medium to full bodied feel in this beer with ample carbonation. Easy to drink and really nice on the palate.
Overall it's a solid local Hefeweizen, and has better taste than many. For the right price and availability I could make this a staple.
