This is a very convincing Kölsch enjoyed on tap at Butterjoint, a bar in Pittsburgh. It is light in color and body, has a light malt flavor and is mildly hopped. Tastes like one of Cologne’s mass distribution brands, I.e refreshing and food-friendly. Definitely sessionable and why not?

Tap
Pours clear golden, white lacing for a head.
Aroma of cereal malts and sweet grassy undertones.
Flavor is of cereal, biscuit, grassy and light citrus.
Light to medium body, tingly carbonation.
Decent and highly drinkable kolsch, a tad strong for sessioning but very refreshing on a hot day. Good beach beer.
