Poured into a 16 oz Nordic pint glass, canned 12/19/17. Pours a very attractive slightly hazy amberish orange, with a 2 finger sticky off white head that leaves some attractive thick lines of lace behind.
Smell is apricot, tangerine, hard candy, pineapple, and some mild grapefruit, very well balanced.
Taste follows apricot, hard candy, tangerine, pineapple, and grapefruit.
Mouthfeel is medium, moderate life, not dry but a tad sticky from all the fresh hops, and goes down very easy at 8% ABV.
Overall this is a nice DIPA, the first time I had it, I wasn't blown away, but sitting down and enjoying a wonderfully balanced DIPA. Sometimes I am glad I didn't rate it first time around, this is really a nice brew.

This is a great beer! Gentle pour reveals an opaque and musty looking brown-bronze with a four finger head (wow!) and some little yeasty white sediments floating about, not super attractive color, honestly. But Boy does the taste make up for it! Awesome balance of sweet juicy notes and tangy malt, just like the nose implies. Nice medium mouthfeel and carb.
Finish is long and dry, with some lime and honey lingering. A great CT brew from Broad Brook

16oz can. Pours a murky brown color with 2 inches of fluffy white head. Lots of lacing. The aroma is piney and herbal hops with some light citrus peel and tropical fruit notes. Some bubblegum too. The taste is fruitier than expected by the aroma. Melon, tangerine and guava with the pine coming out more towards the back end. Toasted bread crusts along with guava and pine at the end. Heavy mouthfeel with lots of carbonation. Moderate amount of alcohol heat. Pretty good Imperial IPA but I do believe I like the original version better.

See, what they did here is... take the original Jigawatts DIPA and tweak the recipe. Adding a ton more Simcoe, Amarillo, Cascade and Citra. It’s another extra juicy unfiltered DIPA. And it’s pretty damn good!
