Mechazilla Double IPA
Broad Brook Brewing Company
IPA - Imperial / Double
This is a throwback IPA. While slightly juicy, its got a dry, leafy, piney and orange rind vibe mostly. Balanced West Coast style with medium bodied, amber maltiness. Tangy, leafy, dry and slightly boozy in the finish. I'm currently watching Zilla vs. Mech now. How BeerGeek is that??!!! ** Very inconsistent can from can unfortunately.**

Poured from a pint can into a snifter style glass. Two fingered white head with decent lacing. Body of the beer is amber in color, semi opaque. Wonderful aroma of peach, apricots, melon and lemon, very enticing. The citra hops flavors shine thru on the first sip, with a bit of spice on the backside. Nice mouthfeel with some effervescence on the tongue, and a well hidden 8% abv for the sweet buzz.
