Pale gold with a thin layer of frothy white foam in the glass. Clarity was ok, seemed like a slight haze was present and some visible carbonation.
First whiff was of DMS, creamed corn that blew off after a couple minutes, later becoming vaguely malty and yeasty in a pedestrian way.
Taste was mildly malty with a yeastiness and very little if any hop bitterness. Didn't get much of the floral or spicy notes advertised on the label. Fairly thin with noticeable carbonation. Overall it's pretty basic, and fades into the background against the many better local options. So long 4 Paws, we hardly knew ye.
