A dark sour mash beer, I was told to expect funk and sourness.
Looks pretty good. Dark liquid with off blue-ish/tan head.
Oof...smells like cheese. Like brie with parmesan and blackberry essence. Funky? Not quite. It's cheese, which isn't bad...
But the flavor belies the aroma. Nothing similar, except perhaps the blackberry. IF it had even a hint of sourness, it would be a lot better. Instead, it's thin and watery, faded yeast. May go well with cream cheese with raspberries, but nothing else. It needs major work. Sourness would help a ton
