probably the best house made beer i have had from these guys so far. its a delicious fresh bright wheaty saison as a base, with a nicely used french tasting yeast strain, fruity and floral but clean as they go, really frothy and well carbonated, but the kicker is this special dry hopping, as much as the beer would still be fantastic without it. they give is a nice dose of sorachi ace hops, and these hops really sing in a beer like this, imparting an aromatic botanical freshness and the taste of fresh dill, sweet lemon cream, and fresh mowed lawn. this beer is super drinkable and different, and it just screams summer to me. i think the sorachi ace hops are perfectly cut out for this type of saison, and the end up being the most distinguishing element. the yeast is great though, not over the top with its fruitiness, but great with the hops. its dry in the finish with a pretty hearty wheat body, great texture. this might very well be the best beer i have had from these guys, its pretty textbook for what i like in the style, and it features this hop so nicely. awesome saison!
