Look: Pitch black, about 2 inches of head, tan at base gets lightertowards the top. Leaves beautiful lace along the glass.
Smell: Not a ton of aroma, probably the weakest aspect of the beer. I get a hint of chocolate but its faint. Surprising with all that head!
Taste: Big hop bitterness intertwined with roasted malt. Outstanding balance between the two. There's chocolate notes in there for sure, coffee as well on the after taste.
Feel: Frothy and medium bodied. Very pleasing.
Overall: Outstanding work balancing the hop bitterness and malt flavors. Big bodied and well executed all around.
