Had on-tap at the Brewery, poured into a snifter.
L: Pours a medium amber color. Clear with thin off-white head. Minimal lacing.
S: Rye whiskey and booze.
T/F: Toasted grains and caramel for the backbone with a strong rye whiskey kick. Boozy and strong. Some oak and vanilla from the barrel. Well carbonated and warming.
O: A nice whiskey barrel aged beer. The rye gives it a bit different character from some other bourbon aged brews. A nice sipper and well put together beer.
